16mm Videography
🎞

Natural Colors, Magical Rendering

Greater resolution than Super 8,
color depth and dynamic range that
rivals modern digital cameras,
cheeper to process than 35mm
The Camera

I shoot with a Bolex SBM,
a 16mm film camera from the late 70s

It is powered by a spring that is hand wound,
and can run up to 64p for shooting slow motion

The film is processed at Pro 8mm in Burbank,
a world class film processing company that has
worked with Spielberg and Beyonce
