16mm Videography

The Camera

I shoot with a Bolex SBM,

a 16mm film camera from the late 70s

It is powered by a spring that is hand wound, 

and can run up to 64p for shooting slow motion

The film is processed at Pro 8mm in Burbank,

a world class film processing company that has

worked with Spielberg and Beyonce

Buy film, cleaning and packing gear

Drop off film, pick up film, scan, color in lightroom, loop in FCPX 

Structure, edit, color grade, add sound, graphics, and motion to main video 

 

Export clips and main video in

422, h264, and mp4 versions 

 

Upload media to cloud, including the raw files

3 revisions after delivery
