Lead Clinic

Take the sharp end. Unlock a world of climbing outside. Day 1 of the clinic covers belay devices, gloves, rope and other gear, tidiness, flaking standards, butterfly coiling, 5 clipping techniques, lead belay slack and take technique, lowering, z-clipping, back clipping, footwork while climbing, falling calculus, clipping positioning, clipping anchors. We spend time practicing on the wall, and maximize our learning with hangdogging. Day 2 focuses on practice on the wall, with more pronounced takes and hangs, slowly progressing to mini falls, and finally we cover standards looked for on most lead tests.
